of Entry with 17 kilos of cocaine

A State of Coahuila resident identified as 47-yearold Norma Rodríguez Cabello was arrested at the Eagle Pass International Port of Entry over the weekend with 17 kilos of Cocaine.

Reports state that Cabello was traveling into the United States through EP Bridge No. 2 in a Honda Accord when she was sent to a secondary inspection.

USCBP agents detected the illegal haul in a hidden compartment.

Cabello was arrested and transported to Del Rio, Texas for Federal processing.

She did appear before a Federal Judge for a preliminary detention hearing on Friday, February 14.
