El automóvil de pasajeros salió de la carretera y golpeó una cerca expulsando al conductor y a tres pasajeros. El conductor y dos pasajeros fueron transportados a un hospital en Eagle Pass, TX;

Además, uno de los pasajeros, Dennys Augusto Coronel Quezada 18 YOA de Santa Isabel, Ecuador, fue declarado muerto en la escena.

Una declaración dada por el conductor indicó que se tomaron medidas evasivas en un intento de evitar un animal salvaje.

LAREDO- The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is investigating a one vehicle fatal crash that occurred on February 10, 2020 at approximately 8:35 pm on Farm to Market road 1665, approximately 11 miles north of Eagle Pass, TX.

Preliminary investigation revealed a blue 1992 Chevrolet passenger car that was traveling east on FM 1665.

The passenger car drove off the roadway, and struck a fence ejecting the driver and three passengers. The driver and two passengers were transported to a hospital in Eagle Pass, TX; furthermore, one of the passengers, Dennys Augusto Coronel Quezada 18 YOA from Santa Isabel, Ecuador, was pronounced dead on scene.

A statement given by the driver stated evasive action was taken in an attempt to avoid a wild animal. DPS Troopers are further investigating this fatal crash.
