Man attacks family

The Maverick County Sheriff's Department reported the arrest of a male individual who attacked his parents and then threatened to commit suicide. 

Maverick County Sheriff reports state that deputies responded to a home located on Lariat St. in the Rosita Valley sector of the community on Wednesday, January 15, regarding a domestic disturbance.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies made contact with family members who reported the incident.

The young man was observed and believed to be under the influence.

It's reported that he became very aggressive and ended up putting a knife to his neck area and began threatening to kill himself.

The subject was arrested for domestic violence and will undergo a mental evaluation.
