MicroStar works along with Constellation Brands in Mexico and provides the kegs necessary for their beer products.
This operation has provided over 110 new jobs in Eagle Pass.
City officials including Mayor Ramsey E. Cantu, City Councilman Rudy Villalpando, Economic Development Director Arturo Marquez, and Assistant City Manager Ivan Morua met with MicroStar operations management, who took them on a tour of the facility.
“This morning, we toured one of the newest industry company’s in our city that has provided 110 new jobs in our city, and we continue looking to bring more industry for economic prosperity,” said Mayor Cantu.
MicroStar Logistics in Eagle Pass is a 250,000 sq foot facility and is the company’s largest building in the U.S. The Eagle Pass plant opened its operation in March 2019.
Founded in 1996 MicroStar Logistics is the leading diversified keg solutions provider. MicroStar's Keg Management division has two types of keg products.
They provide Key Craft-branded kegs which are produced for midsize, regional brewers, and MicroStarbranded kegs for large, national brewers; to deliver cost-effective outsourced keg solutions.
MicroStar's Quality Services division provides a keg repair and maintenance operation which helps maintain the quality and lengthen the lifespan of some of the largest keg fleets in the world.
