The 7th annual Halloween festival held on Wednesday, October 30 was a great success, with hundreds of children and families participating in the fun activities which included games, costume contest, food, and entertainment.

Joining in on the Halloween festivities were Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber, Maverick County Judge David Saucedo, County Commissioners Gerardo Jerry Morales, Rosy Cantu, Roberto Ruiz, and Pete Venegas, as well as Mario A Hernandez, District Attorney Roberto Serna, and all those who helped organize this event.

Sheriff Schmerber would like to thank everyone who attended the Halloween event and also those who volunteered to make the festivities a great success.
