El accidente de volcadura ocurrió en Del Rio Blvd aproximadamente a la 1:00 p.m. cuando un Toyota RAV 4 viajaba hacia la ciudad a una alta velocidad cuando recortó un vehículo blanco de cuatro puertas para pasajeros.

El SUV mediano de color granate terminó perdiendo el control y volcó a unos 100 metros del punto de impacto.

Afortunadamente, solo dos de los cinco estudiantes ocupantes sufrieron heridas leves y no requirieron transporte médico

El jefe de policía de Eagle Pass, Albert Guajardo, se encontraba en la escena del accidente y declaró que el departamento de policía estaba investigando el accidente y que también se estaba observando el hecho de que los estudiantes no estaban en la escuela.

Five high school students escaped serious injury after the vehicle they were traveling clipped another vehicle and rolled over.

The rollover accident occurred on Del Rio Blvd at approximately 1:00 pm as a Toyota RAV 4 was traveling towards town at a high rate of speed when it clipped a white four door passenger vehicle.

The Maroon Mid-Size SUV ended up losing control and overturned about 100 yards away from point of impact.

Luckily, only two of the five student occupants suffered only minor injuries and did not require medical transport to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Centers Emergency Room.

Eagle Pass Police Chief Albert Guajardo was at the accident scene and stated that the accident was being investigated by the police department and the fact that the students were not in school was also being looked at.
