The Eagle Pass Independent School District Board of Trustees and Administration recognized all EPISD Principals during October as proclaimed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott and across the Nation as National Principals Month.

School Principals are officially recognized throughout the country with National and State resolutions supporting the event, as well as acknowledgments from U.S. senators and representatives and other government officials.

During the EPISD Board meeting held on Tuesday, October 8 the Board recognized the important role that Principals play in a school setting.

“EPISD strongly encourages schools and communities to come together to honor their school leaders during October and to be reminded that Principals appreciate 'thank you' messages throughout the year.

A personal commitment of time and professional leadership to the school community they serve are critical attributes of school success.

EPISD sends a Texas sized 'thank you' to every Principal for your daily leadership in fostering a positive climate and culture for your students and staff.

Thank you Principals, we appreciate youfor all you do,” said public information officer Daniella Byrne.
