Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber reported that an operative at a home in Pueblo Nuevo last week yielded drugs, cash and firearms, and that several arrests were made as well.
Sheriff Schmerber stated that investigations are currently ongoing regarding what are known as “Tienditas” which are set up to sell and distribute narcotics.
Schmerber added that investigations are ongoing on several identified areas and that arrests are expected once an investigation is conducted.
