Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber introduced and welcomed three new deputies to the Maverick County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff Schmerber met with Deputies Daniela Gil, Fernando Ibarra and Jonathan Garza on September 25; where he welcomed in their new roles at the Maverick County Sheriff's Department.
The three new deputies ascended to the position after being part of the team at the Tom Bowles Detention Center as Transportation and Correctional Officers.
They will now assist Sheriff Schmerber and other department officers in providing a safe and secure community.
