The United States Department of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are increasing security measures at both Port of Entries which are causing traffic flow delays.

The security measures include stricter revisions on  vehicles attempting to cross into United States territory.

In the past months there have been numerous incidents  where undocumented immigrants have attempted to drive, run towards CBP offices to seek asylum. This does not follow protocol and is against the law.

Authorities once again reported another incident on Tuesday night when a group of 6 citizens of Georgia a former Soviet Republic crossed the bridge system in a car attempting to seek asylum.

The disorderly entry of undocumented immigrants has sparked security increases at our Port of Entries.
