Eagle Pass High School Administration and staff met with their freshmen on Monday, September 2, 2019.
During the rules and procedures meeting the students were reminded to strive for a successful and positive experience on their journey at EPHS.
EPHS Principal Mr. Luis Huerta urged students to address any concerns promptly and that EPHS administration, counselors, campus law enforcement and staff are readily available.
Serious consequences for improper behavior were laid out clearly for freshmen.
Among the rules that were laid out during the student — faculty meeting were cellphone rules.
It's important to note that cellphones will be confiscated if they are visible. No warnings will be given. No cellphones during the exchange of classes. No cellphones during the lunches. If you are a senior and leave early, you can use it once you leave the campus. No cellphones in class unless allowed by the teacher for instructional purposes.
Parents will have to come and pay the $15.00 processing fee in D-wing office after school.
Refusal to turn in cell phone, will result in disciplinary consequences.
These rules apply to every student in the Eagle Pass Independent School District.
