Going on his 6th year as the Thundering Mavericks Varsity Football team Head Coach, Villasenor continues striving for excellence from his teams.

As the new High School Football season is ready to start, Villasenor his coaches and players have been working hard to get ready to hit the gridiron. 

“We have a senior heavy ball club coming back this year and that is always good for us. That brings a lot of leadership on and off the field,” said Villasenor. “

What I can say about this team is that they're hungry, hungry to get back in the playoffs and I know that they will give it there all.” “ I know that these kids have a strong will and determination to excel and represent CC Winn High School and the Community to the best of their ability,” added Villasenor.” I'm very proud of our kids and coaches who have put in a lot of time to prepare for this season. It's always an exciting time when Friday Night Lights get underway.”

“I do want to invite the entire community to come on out and support our football teams and any other local district sporting event,” concluded Villasenor.
