The City of Eagle Pass held the 15th Annual Back to School Health and Social Services Fair on Thursday, August 15, in which hundreds of local families and 50 agencies participated in.
During the event City officials including Mayor Cantu welcomed all agencies and community members in attendance.
The annual event - which has been held since 2004 - proceeded and offered community children an opportunity to receive school supplies, backpacks and medical health screenings. These services are made possible in a collaborative effort by numerous local agencies who annually provide and participate in assuring that local community children are prepared to go back to school.
