The Maverick County Primary elections held on Tuesday, March 5th resulted in Democratic Party Incumbents Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber, Pct. 1 Commissioner Jerry Morales, 293rd District Attorney Roberto Serna, and Commissioner Olga Ramos winning their respective races.

Incumbent Maverick County Tax Assessor Collector Asalia Casares and Ruben Montemayor will be heading into a runoff election.
