DPS Troopers set to leave, Military personnel being arriving
Wednesday, 13 February 2019 00:15 Published in February 2019The State of Texas is reported to begin a draw-down of DPS Troopers from Maverick County after deploying close to 500 officials into the area.
The deployment was in response to over 2,000 immigrants who made their way into Piedras Negras and were deemed a threat to border security.

The kind gesture and incident occurred on Saturday, February, 9 when DPS Trooper Emmanuel Rios who is currently deployed in our community was out patrolling.
