The Kunafin Aggies lept out to a further lead in the standings of the 13 Yearold division of the 2012 Eagle Pass Babe Ruth League with a victory by forfeit over the State Farm Cardinals on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at legendary Moncada Baseball Park. Coach Darren Ibarra nevertheless led his charges into battle and were actually up on the Ags in a scrimmage as Mark Venegas and Ricky Medina worked as battery mates against the maroon and white loop leaders.

The CC Winn Lady Mavericks are serious about improving next season in District 29- AAAAA play as the Lady Mavs’ Big Three of Ari Ruiz, Stephanie Gonzalez and Nelly Cedillo, who all received All-District honors last season, attended the Kim Mulkey and the Baylor Lady Bears’ Camp for Champions in Waco two weeks ago where the girls spent a week improving their individual basketball skills with national champions Odyssey Sims and the MVP of the 2012 National Championship, Brittney Griner.
They were also able to compete against players from across the country attending prestigious Mulkey’s Camp of Champs.

The 10 Year-old Cal Ripken All-Stars began training for their July 6th clash between themselves, Kingsville, Cotulla and the 9 Year-old EP Stars. Players include Jose Samaniego, Etha Johnston, Mario Morales, Jacob Wright, Joshua De Hoyos, Kenneth espinoza,Javier Garcia, Ricky Sanchez, Eduardo Hernandez, Sebastian Guardiola, Gavin Montalvo Abraham Longoria, and Kendrick Sanchez.
The team is managed by Abel Sanchez and coachedby Jacob Wright, Rolando Morales and Jose Samaniego.
