NEW YORK (AP) — For some Walmart employees, the day brought news of a pay raise. Others learned they were out of a job.
Walmart said Thursday that it is boosting its starting salary for U.S. workers and handing out bonuses.

Walmart, it is about to increase its starting wage from $ 9 to $ 11 per hour and also provide employees bonuses at all of its stores across the United States including in Eagle Pass.

THORNTON, Colo. (AP) — A man suspected of walking into a suburban Denver Walmart and immediately opening fire with a handgun, killing two men and a woman, was arrested Thursday, about 14 hours after fleeing the store.

  Walmart will be hosting their Second Annual Haunted Garden on October 27, 28, and 31, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Walmart celebrated their 35th anniversary serving Eagle Pass on the morning of Thursday, August 17. 

   An Eagle Pass Police Officer was led on a chase by a man who had stolen merchandise from Walmart Monday afternoon.

   The Lions Club of Eagle Pass, along with Maverick County, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and Walmart, hosted a National Free Fishing Day event at the Maverick County Lake on Saturday, June 3. 

The Boys and Girls Club Drug Free Basketball League recieved a much needed monetry donation from Wal Mart on Tuesday, May 2.  

The Boys & Girls Club of Eagle Pass would like to thank Walmart of Eagle Pass and Store Manager Jesus Valencia for sponsoring members to participate in the Youth

The LBJ Head Start center received a $1600 donation from Walmart to help with costs for the non-profit agency, Kids Are First, which runs the Head Start program.
