La directiva del Eagle Pass Bridge System votó a favor de contratar a PSquare Solutions LLC. para el proyecto de aviso de peaje en ambos Puentes Internacionales.
El Director del Sistema de Puentes de EP, Homero Balderas, presentó el lunes el artículo a la directiva y explicó a los miembros del Municipal había solicitado que se realizaran negociaciones para ver si el precio total del proyecto podía reducirse de la cotización original de $5,193,677. Balderas afirmó que la empresa había reducido el costo en cerca de $500,000 y la recomendación era continuar con el proyecto.
La Directiva estuvo de acuerdo y ordenó que Balderas avanzara y lo presentara al Concilio Municipal para su aprobación final.
El martes, durante una reunión del Concilio Municipal, Balderas presentó la propuesta y fue aprobada.
Eagle Pass Bridge System está buscando actualizar su sistema de cobro del sistema de puentes de peaje después de décadas de trabajar con el sistema actual.
Bridge System Ready to Install New Toll Notification System
The Eagle Pass Bridge System Board of Trustees voted in favor of hiring PSquare Solutions LLC. for the toll notification project at both International Bridges.
EP Bridge System Director Homero Balderas on Monday presented the item to the Board and explained that the City Council had requested that negotiations be conducted to see if the overall price of the project could be brought down from the original quote of $5,193,677. Balderas stated that the company had brought down the cost by close to $500,000 and the recommendation was to proceed with the project.
The Board agreed and ordered for Balderas to move forward and present it to the City Council for final approval.
On Tuesday, during a City Council meeting, Balderas presented the proposal and it was approved.
The Eagle Pass Bridge System is looking to upgrade their toll bridge system collection system after decades of working with the system in place.
