City approves application for police body worn cameras The City of Eagle Pass is applying for a grant from the Office of the Governor Criminal Justice Division for a body worn camera project.
People dealing with bridge lines and long waits have seen some relief since Monday March 19 when the United States Customs Border Protection authorities in Eagle Pass began to open more vehicle inspection booths.
This is being done to improve circulation and assist in minimizing the long waiting periods people crossing the bridge have experienced for quite a long time.
The Eagle Pass City Council held a public hearing on Tuesday March 20 to discuss the imposition of a water impact fee within the City of Eagle Pass Corporate Boundaries and extraterritorial jurisdiction to benefit the Eagle Pass Water Works System and its Capital Improvement projects.
