After receiving a grant from the National Recreation and Parks Association the City of Eagle Pass Parks and Recreation Department along with the Mayors Fitness Council are offering adults ages 50 plus a new way to stay fit. The program Walk with Ease will be offered free to the community. This exercise and walking classes began on March 20 from 6 to 7 PM at the San Juan Plaza.

The City of Eagle Pass Business & Economic Development Committee (BEDC), had a delegation travel to the State’s Capitol on Monday afternoon.
The group was there to push for transportation and infrastructure projects in our area.

Reassigned Eagle Pass Independent School District Chief of Police Joe Ramos has filed an employee grievance/appeal in regards to his reassignment by EPISD Superintendent Gilbert Gonzalez.
