Domestic Violence continues being a problem that the community and law enforcement officials face on a daily basis.
This past week a male individual was arrested and will face charges for verbally and physically assaulting his wife.

The Maverick County Sheriff Department responded to a call from the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Centers emergency room on Thursday March 15 at approximately 8:43 PM which involved a person with a gunshot wound. The Maverick County Sheriff Department, Maverick County Constables Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Eagle Pass Fire Department responded to an accident call on Monday, February 12, 2018.
Minutes after 12 noon an emergency call came in reporting a single motor vehicle roll over on Del Rio Boulevard.

 A 29-year-old man from Eagle Pass, identified as Vince Ibarra, is reported to be in serious condition from severe burns to his body after being involved in a fiery crash when the vehicle he was traveling in collided with a tree and caught fire. 

A  42-year-old male and an 8-year-old child were involved in a one vehicle motorcycle accident on Hopedale Road at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

A motor vehicle accident  occurred in Loma Bonita at the corner of Zaragoza Street and Peach Street when the driver of a green 1996 Chevy S-10 Blazer lost control of his vehicle a little after midnight on Tuesday.
