The Eagle Pass City council voted in favor of a resolution scheduling a public hearing to discuss the imposition of a water impact fee to benefit the Eagle Pass Water Works System and its Capital Improvement projects.

The Eagle Pass City Council held a special meeting on Monday, October 30, in which they voted in favor of the second reading to a proposed ordinance to regulate the transportation, storage, record keeping, and proper disposal of used and scrap tires.

The Eagle Pass Independent School District and the City of Eagle Pass discussed the fees and terms of usage on certain facilities under a intergovernmental agreement during their joint meeting held on March 28.
Texas Senate approves bill that would reduce handgun license fee
The Texas Senate on Monday approved a bill that would significantly reduce the fee to get a license to carry a handgun.
Municipal Court continues Amnesty Program
The Municipal Court of the City of Eagle Pass will be conducting an Amnesty Program from March 7 through March 17, in an effort to encourage citizens with outstanding warrants and expired payment plans to pay their fines, and avoid being arrested and paying additional fines and fees.
