Frances received a Master of Arts degree from Lamar University and taught English at Beaumont High School where, in 1985, she received the Excellence in Using Instructional Television award. She was active in American Association of University Women (AAUW,) and Delta Kappa Gamma educational sorority.
A member of Calder Baptist Church in Beaumont, Frances belonged to the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU), assisted in the church library and in many other programs and capacities of the church.
She was executive administrator of the Beaumont Symphony and active in the Beaumont Symphony Society and Women’s Symphony League.
Frances enjoyed travel, needlecrafts and watching tennis, golf and football. She is best remembered for her determination, organizational skills, and love of children.
She will be buried with her husband at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Calder Baptist Church Library.

Anna Frances Dromgoole Fagg, 94, died peacefully Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at La Hacienda de Paz in Eagle Pass, Texas. A resident of Beaumont, Texas for over 50 years and more recently of Houston, Frances is survived by her daughters, Lydia Urbanek of Houston and Tish Ibarra of Eagle Pass, and four grandchildren: Seth Urbanek, Paloma Ibarra, Luke Urbanek and Rio Ibarra. She was the wife of the late Harry H. Fagg.
