Diana Muñoz de Gonzalez
1922-2017

Diana Muñoz de Gonzalez, born on March 16, 1922, went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2017, at the age of 95.

She was born in Piedras Negras to Iginio Muñoz and Maria Luisa Gonzalez. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vidal. Diana is survived by her children: Vidal Gonzalez, Tere Gonzalez Gonzalez, Diana Gonzalez Brown, Guillermina Gonzalez Hector, Aida Gonzalez Arizpe and Maria Ines Gonzalez.  She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. Visitation for Diana was held at Memorial Funeral Chapel on September 8 and 9, 2017. A funeral mass was held on September 9 at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sergio Arizpe II, Douglas Hector, Sergio Arizpe, Jaime Bass, Tomas Brown and Jorge Gonzalez. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Gonzalez family.

Ricardo Gallegos De Luna
1946-2017
Ricardo Gallegos De Luna entered into eternal rest September 6, 2017, in Eagle Pass, at the age of 70. He was born September 10, 1946, in Centinela, to Macedonio Gallegos and Adelina De Luna. Ricardo is survived by his wife, Josefa; his children: Ricardo Jr., Adelina and Amparito; and his grandchildren, Roberto, Juan Diego and Damiana Garza. He is also survived by his sisters, Irene, Maria, Catalina, Pabla and Blanca; and his brothers, Agapito, Macedonio and Daniel. Visitation for Ricardo was held at Memorial Funeral Chapel on September 10 and 11. A funeral mass was held on September 11, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Gallegos family.


Blanca Esther Salazar
1984-2017
Blanca Esther Salazar went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2017, in San Antonio, at the age of 32. She was born on November 4, 1984, in Piedras Negras to Juan Martinez and Alicia Ledezma. Blanca is survived by her husband, Juan Isaias Salazar Gaspar; her children, Giselle, Juan Isaias Jr. and Israel; and her parents, Juan Martinez and Alicia Ledezma. She is also survived by her brother, Luis Martinez; and her sisters, Dariela Martinez and Diamantina Martinez. Visitation for Blanca was held on September 6 and 7, 2016, at Funerales Socorro in Piedras Negras. A religious service was at the chapel on September 6. Interment took place at the Municipal Cemetery in El Moral. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Salazar family.

Maria Eulalia Johnston
1921-2017
Maria Eulalia Johnston, born February 6, 1921, went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2017, in Austin. She was born in Hondo, Texas, to Eduardo and Maria de Jesus Salinas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon M. Johnston. Maria is survived by her children, Edna J. (Keith) Dunger, Ramon S. (Oralia) Johnston and Mindy (Dan) Niendorff. She is also survived by five granddaughters and one grandson; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation for Maria was held at Memorial Funeral Chapel on September 1 and 2, 2017. A funeral mass was held on September 2 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Johnston family.

Francisco Ramirez Obregon
1949-2017
Francisco Ramirez Obregon entered into eternal rest on August 31, 2017, at the age of 68. He was born on March 9, 1949, in Piedras Negras, to Concepcion Ramirez and Raquel Obregon. Francisco is survived by his wife, Beatriz Aracely Lozano; his sons, Francisco and Adrian; his daughters, Suzel, Raquel and Marcela. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation for Francisco was held at Memorial Funeral Chapel on August 31 and September 1, 2017. A funeral mass was held on September 1 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Ramirez family.
