Josefina Yanez

1927-2017

Josefina Yanez, born March 19, 1927, went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2017, in Eagle Pass. She was born in Zaragoza, Coahuila, to Bernardo Avila and Amalia Escajeda. Josefina is survived by her daughters, Florinda, Dora Elia, Armandina and Herlinda; and her son Jesus Maria. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation for Josefina was held at Memorial Funeral Chapel on July 31 and August 1, 2017. A funeral mass was held on August 1 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Yanez family.

Ma. Alma de Jesus Hernandez

1955-2017

Ma. Alma de Jesus Hernandez Castro entered into eternal rest on July 29, 2017, at the age of 62. She was born on June 6, 1955, in Parras, Coahuila, to Francisco Hernandez and Alma Castro. Alma is survived by her son, Julio Hernando Gavino; and her daughter, Lucia Alejandra Gonzalez. She is also survived by one grandchild. At the request of the family, cremation services were performed. Visitation for Alma was held on August 1, 2017, at Funerales Socorro in Piedras Negras. Religious services were held in the chapel. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Hernandez family.

Maria Graciela Salazar

1952-2017

Maria Graciela Salazar went to be with the Lord on July 31, 2017, in Eagle Pass, Texas, at the age of 65. She was born on June 17, 1952, to Praxedis Serrato and Magdalena Godina.
