OBITUARY




Jose I. Rodriguez

1928-2017


Jose I. Rodriguez, born August 6, 1928, went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2017, in Eagle Pass.

He was born in Sauceda, Zacatecas, to Simon Rodriguez and Carmen Gaytan. Jose is survived by his sons, Eliazar Omar, Raul A., Javier and Oscar Hugo; and his daughters, Rosa E. and Narcedalia. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren. Visitation for Jose was held at Memorial Funeral Chapel on July 19, 2017. A funeral mass was held on July 19 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. At the request of the family, cremation services were performed. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Rodriguez family.




Maria del Carmen Osuna

1958-2017


Maria del Carmen Osuna entered into eternal rest on July 21, 2017, at the age of 59. She was born on May 24, 1958, in Nava, Coahuila, to Jose Angel Osuna Fernandez and Enedina Davila Sosa. Maria is survived by her sons, Juan Antonio Villarreal and Cesar Alejandro Villarreal Osuna; and her daughters, Sara Cristina Villarreal and Ana Sofia Villarreal Osuna. She is also survived by two grandchildren and nine brothers and sisters. Visitation for Maria was held on July 23, 2017, after which, at the request of the family, cremation services were held. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Osuna family.




Natalia M. Oropeza

1928-2017


Natalia M. Oropeza went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2017, in Eagle Pass, Texas, at the age of 89. She was born on May 5, 1928, Alberto and Petra (Cabran) Mata. Natalia is survived by her daughters, Hortencia Heredia, Emilia Figueroa, Margarita Garcia and Rosa Oropeza; and her sons, Amador Martinez, Juan Gonzalez and Alberto Oropeza. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two siblings. Visitation for Natalia was held on July 23 and 24, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass was held on July 24 at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Oropeza family.


Jesus Hernandez Adame

1930-2017


Jesus Hernandez Adame entered into eternal rest on July 21, 2017, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 86. He was born October 24, 1930, to Julian Hernandez and Lisia Adame. Jesus is survived by his wife, Petra; and his children and grandchildren. Visitation for Jesus was held on July 24 and 25, 2017, at Funerales Socorro in Piedras Negras. Interment was held at the Panteon Municipal on July 26. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel and Funerales Socorro. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Hernandez family.




Olga R. Mazuka

1938-2017


Olga R. Mazuka went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2017, in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was born April 4, 1938, in Piedras Negras, to Agapito Rodriguez and Guadalupe Martinez. Olga is survived by her son, Roberto; and her daughters, Dariela and Karla. She is also survived by five grandchildren. Visitation for Olga was held on July 25 and 26, 2017, at Funerales Socorro in Piedras Negras. A funeral mass was held at the Santuario de Guadalupe on July 26. Interment followed at the Panteon Municipal in Piedras Negras. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel and Funerales Socorro. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Mazuka family.




Juana Ornelas

1922-2017


Juana Ornelas, born on July 28, 1922, went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2017, at the age of 94, in Eagle Pass. Born in Frontera, Coahuila, she was the daughter of Alvino Lopez and Santos Ledezma. Juana is survived by her son, Luz Humberto; and her daughters, Sonia, Idalia and Sorayda. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation for Juana was held on June 25 and 26, 2017, at Funerales Socorro in Piedras Negras. Graveside services were held at the Panteon Municipal on June 26. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel and Funerales Socorro. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Ornelas family.
