Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Estela Valdez; 2 Sons: Efrain Valdez (Pricilla) of El Indio and Benjamin Valdez (Lilia) of Justin, Texas; 3 Daughters: Abigail Garza (Jaime) of Devine, Texas, Maria E. Perez (Alejandro) and Natale Valdez (Marcos Cabrera) both of  Grandbury, Texas; 1 Brother: Arturo Valdez. Sixto was also survived by 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
