Juanita Chong
1927-2016
Juanita Chong, went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2016, in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was born July 24, 1927, in Jesus Chuy and Jesucita Lopez. She is preceded in death by her husband, Federico, and her son, Jose Luis. Juanita is survived by her son, Federico, Jr., and her daughters, Santa and Maricela. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation for Juanita was held at Memorial Funeral Chapel on June 9. A funeral mass was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on June 9. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. Jesus H. Ramirez
1927-2016
Jesus H. Ramirez entered into eternal rest on June 8, 2016, in Eagle Pass, at the age of 88. He
was born December 20, 1927, to Jose Ramirez and Rosa Herrera. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Z. Ramirez; his daughter, Diamantina; and his sons, Jorge and Alvaro. Jesus is survived by his children: Francisca, Rosa, Jesus, Maria Isabel, Ricardo, Maria del Jesus and Veronica; 24 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Guadalupe and Maria Elena. Visitation for Jesus was held at Memorial Funeral Chapel on June 10 and 11, 2016. A funeral mass was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on June 11. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Ramirez family.
Roberto Vasquez
1940-2016
Roberto Vasquez went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2016, in Eagle Pass, at the age of 75. He was born on October 15, 1940, to Roman and Maria Luisa Vasquez. Roberto is survived by his sons, Ricardo Vasquez, Jesus Vasquez, and Roberto Vasquez, Jr.; his daughters, Norma Vasquez Lawson and Yolanda Vasquez; and his stepson Carlos Moreno. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: Andrew, Raquel, Anthony, Maria, Christina, Alexis, Ariel, Roman and Damien; and his great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Vasquez family.
Dora H. Rueda
1925-2016
Dora H. Rueda went to be with the Lord on June 14, 2016, in Eagle Pass, Texas, at the age of 90. She was born on December 10, 1925, to Guadaluep Hernandez and Hortencia Botello. Dora is survived by her children: Alma Rodriguez, Martha Elva Castillo, David Rueda, Irene Perez, Sonia Perez, Irma Graciela Serrato, Dora Nelia Garcia, Hortencia Valdes, Ricardo Rueda and Clara Estela Ramirez. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren Visitation is being held on June 15 and 16, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church on June 16. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Rueda family.
