Juana Segovia de Luna
1935-2016
Juana Segovia de Luna, went to be with the Lord on May 28, 2016, in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was born August 21, 1935, in El Moral, Coahuila, to Pedro Segovia and Aurelia Reyes. Juana is survived by her sons, Rodolfo and Pablo, and her daughter, Maria de Jesus. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Visitation for Juana was held at Funerales Socorro in Piedras Negras on May 29 and 30. A funeral mass was held at Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe and interment followed at Panteon Santo Cristo. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro. Juan Flores Magallanes
1968-2016
Juan Flores Magallanes entered into eternal rest on May 28, 2016, in Eagle Pass, at the age of 47. He was born December 14, 1968, in Saltillo, Coahuila. Funeral services for Juan were held in Saltillo. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. Florencio H. Salinas
1915-2016
Florencio H. Salinas went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2016, in Eagle Pass, Texas, at the age of 100. He was born on October 27, 1915, to Pablo Salinas and Marcelina Hernandez. Florencio is survived by his many friends and extended family at La Guadalupana Adult Day Care. Visitation was held on June 1 and 2, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on June 2. Interment took place at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel. Dolores “Lolita” Z. Perez
1916-2016
Dolores “Lolita” Perez went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2016, in Eagle Pass, at the age of 100. She was born on May 20, 1916, to Vicente Zacarias and Concepcion Davila. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 65 years, Margarito Perez Ortiz; her grandson, Daniel Perez; her daughter-in-law, Carmen Perez; and her son-in-law, Evelio Bonilla. Lolita was passionate about her garden, her church and her family. She was one of the first catechism teachers in Piedras Negras, something she dedicated herself to for over 30 years. Lolita is survived by her son, Alfredo Daniel Perez, and her daughters, Socorro P. Bonilla and Maria de Jesus Perez. Lolita is also survived by five grandchildren: Sylvia San Pedro, Griselda Bonilla Lewis, Marta Bonilla Larson, Terri Perez and Sergio Bonilla; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation was held on June 6 and 7, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass was held at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church on June 7, followed by interment at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Perez family.
Diego Ruiz Garcia
1931-2016
Diego Ruiz Garcia entered into eternal rest June 6, 2016, in Eagle Pass at the age of 84. He was born on November 12, 1931, to Eduardo Ruiz and Delfina Garcia. Visitation for Diego was held on June 7 and 8, 2016, at Funerales Socorro in Piedras Negras. A funeral mass was held on June 8, 2016, at Iglesia San Juan. Interment followed at the Panteon Santo Cristo in Piedras Negras. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro.
