Levi Stunner Ritchie, went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2016, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born June 1, 2015, in San Antonio, to Vanessa Hernandez and Clinton W. Ritchie. He is predeceased by his grandfather, John Edward Ritchie. Levi is survived by his mother, Vanessa; his father, Clinton; and his brother, John Tate Ritchie. He is also survived by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation for Levi was held on April 29 and 30, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on April 30, followed by interment at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Hernandez and Ritchie families.
Daniel Torress
1980-2016
Daniel Torres entered into eternal rest on April 29, 2016, in Eagle Pass, at the age of 35. He was born May 27, 1980, in Eagle Pass to Juan Antonio Torres and Guadalupe Velasquez. Daniel is survived by his mother, Guadalupe Velasquez; his father, Juan Antonio Torres; and his son; Daniel Torres, Jr. He is also survived by his sister, Marisa and his brothers: Juan Antonio, Alejandro and Pedro. Visitation was held at Funerales Socorro, followed by a funeral mass and interment in Piedras Negras. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro. Jonathan Sanchez
1999-2016
Jonathan Sanchez went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2016, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 10, 1999. Jonathan is survived by his mother, Dolores Cruz; his grandmother and many family members who all loved him greatly. Visitation was held on May 3 and 4, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Chapels. Following religious services held in Chapel A, interment was held at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. Guadalupe J. Herrera went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2016, in Eagle Pass, at the age of 82. She was born on December 12, 1933, in Piedras Negras to Daniel and Maria de Jesus Jimenez. Guadalupe is survived by her sons: Juan Antonio, Guadalupe and Samuel. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation for Guadalupe was held on May 4 and 5, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on May 5. Interment was held at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. Rolando E. Lombrana

Rolando E. Lombrana entered into eternal rest May 2, 2016, in Eagle Pass at the age of 62. He was born on August 1, 1953, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, to Jose Lombrana Salgado and Obdulia Elizondo Rodriguez. Rolando is survived by his mother, Obdulia; his daughters Veronica and Gloria Elena; and his grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers: Jose and Saul, and his sisters: Hortencia, Rosanelia, Yolanda and Elizabeth. Following cremation services, a funeral mass was held on May 9, 2016, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. Virginia Acosta de Romero, born on February 7, 1950, went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2016 at the age of 66. She was born in Torreon, Coahuila, to Pedro and Consuelo Acosta. Virginia is survived by her husband Victor Manuel; her sons: Victor Manuel, Juan Carlos and Oscar Ivan; and her daughter: Zaira Elizabeth. She is also survived by eight grandchildren. Visitation for Virginia was held at Funerales Socorro in Piedras Negras, on May 4 and 5, 2016. Following a funeral mass, cremation services were performed. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro. Sylvia Susana Amaya went to be with the Lord on May 6, 2016, in Eagle Pass, at the age of 53. She was born on September 26, 1962, to Francisco and Celia Lopez. Sylvia is survived by her husband of 24 years, Quirino, and her sons Juan Daniel and Emmanuel. Visitation for Sylvia was held on May 9 and 10 at Memorial Funeral Chapel. A religious service was held in Chapel A on May 10. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels.
