Emma Martinez

1938-2016

Maria Emma Martinez entered into eternal rest February 15, 2016, in San Antonio, at the age of 77. Emma was born on June 15, 1938, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila to Bernardo and Dolores Romero. She is survived by her loving husband, Juan Jose Martinez, Sr.; her brother, Bernardo Romero; sisters Dolores Capetillo and Maria de Jesus Dovalina; her daughters Maria Emma (Gene) Morales, Patricia Hinojosa and Isabel (Wilfredo) Leos; and her sons Juan Jose (Juliet) Martinez, Jr. and Francisco Martinez. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Mia, Camila Rebekah, Amanda, Preston, Serena, Giovanni, Homero, Melissa and Sarah; and one great-grandson Clark Mercedes. A viewing will be held at Memorial Funeral Chapel on Thursday, February 18. Funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church on Friday, February 19. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Martinez family.

 

 

Candelaria G. Benavides

1924-2016

 

Candelaria G. Benavides, born on February 2, 1924, went to be with the Lord on February 14,  2016, at the age of 92 in Laredo, Texas. Born in Guerrero, Coahuila, Candelaria is survived by her sons Edmundo and Ramon. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation for Candelaria was held on February 16 and 17, 2016, at Funerales Socorro in Piedras Negras. A funeral mass was held at Sagrado Corazaon in Villa de Fuente. Interment followed at Panteon Santo Cristo. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Benavides family.

 

 

 

 

 

Raymundo Esteban 

Rivera II

1994-2016

Raymundo E. Rivera, II went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2016, in Eagle Pass, at the age of 21. Ray was born on May 1, 1994, in Eagle Pass to Raymundo E. Rivera and Cynthia Castillo. He is survived by his mother Cynthia E. Rivera; his father Raymundo E. Rivera, Sr.; his sisters Amanda Lee (Abraham) Lopez, Cassandra D. (Osaki Miwa) Rivera and Vanessa A. Rivera; his niece Aria E. Lopez and his nephews Aidan E. Lopez, Liam A. Stockley and Osaki Miwa, Jr. He is also survived by his great-aunts, great-uncles, aunts, uncles and many cousins. Visitation for Ray was held on February 17 at Memorial Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church on February 19. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Rivera and Castillo families.

 

Balbina Perry

1924-2016

 

Balbina Perry entered into eternal rest February 10, 2016, in Eagle Pass, at the age of 91. Balbina was born March 31, 1924, in Guerrero, Coahuila to Ellis Perry and Balbina Salinas. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Luis Gutierrez. Balbina is survived by her daughters Naina, Lucila and Maria Luisa and her sons Ventura, Luis, Jorge, Oscar, Rogelio, Gerardo and David. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation for Balbina was held at Memorial Funeral Chapel on February 11, 2016. Following cremation services, interment was held at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery on Saturday, February 13. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Gutierrez family.

 

 

 

 

Bibiana Felan

1921-2016

Bibiana Felan, born on August 18, 1921, went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2016, at the age of 94 in Eagle Pass, Texas. Born in El Moral, Bibiana is survived by her daughters Emma Hortencia Segura and Maria Sonia Adame of Toppenish, WA, Florisa (Rosalio)Rodriguez of San Juan, TX, Rosa de Lima (Jesus) Herrera, Santa (Hector) Herrera, and Alma Yolanda (Mario) Herrera of Eagle Pass; her sons Francisco (Isabel) Felan, Apolonio (Martha ) Felan, Jr., Juan Jose (Bertha) Felan and Mario Arnoldo (Olga) Felan, all of Toppenish, WA. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren, 69 great- grandchildren, and 2 great-great- grandchildren. Visitation for Bibiana was held on February 12 and 13, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on February 13. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Felan family.

 

Alicia H. Villarreal

1942-2016

Alicia H. Villarreal went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2016, in San Antoio, at the age of 73. Alicia was born on June 20, 1942, in El Moral to Presentacion and Juanita Herrera. She is predeceased by her parents and a daughter, Alicia Estrella Villarreal. Alicia is survived by her husband Teodoro Villarreal; her daughters: Asalia Villarreal and Maria de Jesus Heredia of Austin, Juanita Villarreal and Yvette Zaira Gloria of Eagle Pass; and her son Angel Villarreal of Austin. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Alicia was held on February 7 and 8 Memorial Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass was held at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church on February 8. Interment followed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Villarreal family.
