Fernando Teran 1980-2015 Fernando Teran, born on June 19, 1980, went with the Lord on October 2, 2015 at the age of 35 in Eagle Pass, Texas. Born in Anahuac, TX, Fernando was the son of Arnulfo Teran and Norma Alicia Garza. He is survived by his brother Arnulfo Teran Jr., and his sisters Rosalinda Salazar and Araceli Martinez. Visitations for Fernando were held on Sunday, October 4 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel’s A Chapel. Another viewing was held on October 5, 2015. Religious services were held on October 6, 2015 at San Jose Church. He was laid to rest at the Municipal Cemetery in Jimenez, Coahuila. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro. Jose Covarrubias Cuencar 1933-2015 Jose Covarrubias Cuencar, born on January 14, 1933, went with the Lord on October 3, 2015 at the age of 83 in Eagle Pass, Texas. Born in Allende, Coahuila, Jose was the son of the late Lucio Covarrubias and San Juana Cuencar. He was preceded in death by his wife Felipa Garcia. He is survived by his son Lucio Esperanza Leyva, daughters Maria Josefina Gonzalez, Juanita Alicia Valdez, Elvira Esther Torres, Lucia Esperanza Leyva, Leticia Esmeralda Garcia, son-in-laws Ricardo Valdez, Luis Leyva, Ernesto Torres, and daughter-in-law Maria Covarrubias. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Viewings for Jose were held on October 4, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapels. Another viewing was held on October 5, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Rosary/Prayer services were held on the same day at 7:30 p.m. Religious services were held at Sacred Heart Church at 11 a.m., followed by his Burial services at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez & Sons and Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Covarrubias, Cuencar, Gonzalez, Valdez, Torres, Leyva, Garcia, and Valdez families, as well as to all those close to Jose. Enriqueta Delgado Morales 1924-2015 Enriqueta Delgado Morales, born on October 14, 1924, went with the Lord on October 9, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 91. Born in San Vicente, Mexico, Enriqueta was the daughter of the late Daniel Morales and Josefa Ramos. She is survived by her sons Rodolfo, Jesus, and Santana, and daughters Gloria, Elva, Enriqueta, and Alicia. Visitations for Enriqueta were held on October 13, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Valdez & Sons Funeral Chapels, with Rosary/Prayer services taking place at 7 p.m. Another viewing was held on October 14, 2015 at 10 a.m. Enriqueta was laid to rest at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery in Eagle Pass, Texas. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez & Sons Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support for the Delgado and Morales families, as well as for everyone close to Enriqueta. Enriqueta Delgado Morales will be dearly missed. Olga Castillon 1935-2015 Olga Castillon, born on January 16, 1935, went with the Lord on October 14, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 80. Born in Guerrero, Coahuila, Olga was the daughter of the late Tirso Castillon and Herminia Castillon. She is survived by her sons Jesus De Luna and Oscar Botello, and her daughters Olga Flores, Sandra Sassano, and Cynthia Peters. Olga is also survived by eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Viewings for Olga were held on October 19, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Prayer Services were held on the same day at 7:30 p.m. Another viewing was held on October 20 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by her Religious service at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. She was laid to rest at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery in Eagle Pass. Olga Castillon will be dearly missed by our community. Manuel Carrillo 1931-2015 Manuel Carrillo, born on January 31, 2015, went with the Lord on October 17, 2015 at the age of 84. Born in Mexico, Manuel was the son of the late Jose Carrillo and Rebeca Chairez. He is survived by his sons Manuel, Javier, Raul, and Jorge; and his daughters Graciela and Azucena. Viewings for Manuel were held on October 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. Another viewing was held on October 20 at 11 a.m., followed by Religious Services at 2 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Eagle Pass. Manuel was laid to rest at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez & Sons Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Carrillo family, as well as to all those close to Manuel. Manuel Carrillo will be dearly missed by our community. Armando B. Quintero 1946-2015 Armando B. Quintero, born on May 13, 1946, went with the Lord on October 17, 2015 in Pierceton, Indiana at the age of 69. Born in Eagle Pass, Texas and a resident of Pierceton, Armando was united in marriage to Guadalupe Garcial on February 2, 1969. She preceded him in death. Armando spent 46 years of service as a mechanic with The Dalton Foundries of Warsaw, Indiana. He is survived by his sons Armando Quintero Jr., Sipriano Quintero, daughters Martha Horn and Lisa Rice, son-in-laws Christopher Horn and William Rice, daughter-in-law Tina Quintero, and sisters Linda, Amalia, Francie, and Carolina. Armando is also survived by his grandchildren Kayla, Aaron, & Rebecca Horn; Kaine & Keegan Quinter; and Emily, Graciela, and Armando Quintero III. Visitations were held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Pierceton. Funeral Services were held on the same day at 6 p.m. Another viewing was held on October 22, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Memorial Funeral Chapels in Eagle Pass, TX. Mass was held on Friday, October 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by Burial Services at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements were made by McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel and Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support for the Quintero family, as well as all family members and friends of Armando. Armando B. Quintero will be dearly missed. Magdalena Romero Sanchez 1928-2015 Magdalena Romero Sanchez, born on July 21, 1928, went with the Lord on October 18, 2015 at the age of 87. Born in Crystal City, Texas, Magdalena was the daughter of the late Simon Sanchez and Aurora Wassen. She is survived by her sons Jaime, Jorge, and Eduardo, and daughters Olga and Yolanda. Viewings for Magdalena were held on October 19, 2015 from 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Funerales Socorro in Piedras Negras. Another viewing was held on October 20 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by Religious Services at Santuario Guadalupe. She was laid to rest at the Santo Cristo Cemetery in Piedras Negras. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro. Magdalena Romero Sanchez will be dearly missed. Jesus Manuel Hernandez 1937-2015 Jesus Manuel Hernandez, born on December 28, 1937, went with the Lord on October 18, 2015 in Killeen, Texas at the age of 77. Born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Jesus was the son of the late Jesus Hernandez and Guadalupe Herrera. He is survived by his loving wife Rosa Maria Reyna, as well as his brothers and his sister. Viewings for Jesus were held on October 20, 2015 at 9 a.m. at Funerales Socorro in Piedras Negras. Religious Services were held on Wednesday, October 21 at San Juan Catholic Church. He was laid to rest at the Santo Cristo Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Funerales Socorro. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support for the Hernandez family, as well as for everyone close to Jesus. Jesus Manuel Hernandez will be dearly missed. Petra F. Fuentes 1926-2015 Petra F. Fuentes, born on April 29, 1926, went with the Lord on October 21, 2015 in Eagle Pass, Texas at the age of 89. Petra was the daughter of the late Jesus Flores and Maria Revelez. She is survived by her loving daughter Maria Salazar, as well as her nephews Manuel Salazar, Salvador Salazar, Felipe Salazar, and Roberto Salazar. Petra is also survived by three great-grandchildren. Viewings for Petra were held on October 23, 2015 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Rosary Services were held on the same day at 7:30 p.m. Another viewing was held on October 24, 2015 at 10 a.m., followed by Religious Services at Our Lady of Refuge. She was laid to rest at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery in Eagle Pass, Texas. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Fuentes and Salazar families, as well as to all those close to Petra. Petra F. Fuentes will be dearly missed by our community. Juan Jose Lopez 1960-2015 Juan Jose Lopez, born on March 4, 1960, went with the Lord on October 21, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 55. Born in Eagle Pass, Texas, Juan Jose was the son of the late Lina Sanchez Lopez. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Puentes, his son Randy Lopez, daughters Monica Villarreal and Monica Villarreal, and his brother Roberto Lopez. He is also survived by his son-in-law Armando Villarreal, and grandchildren Eddie Villarreal, Miguel Garza, Noemi Mata, Randy Marcus Lopez, Mia Lopez, and Mariah Lopez. Viewings for Juan Jose were held on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapels. Prayer Services were held on the same day at 7:30 p.m. Another viewing was held on Saturday, October 24 at 9 a.m., followed by his Religious Service at our Lady of Refuge at 2 p.m. He was laid to rest at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery in Eagle Pass. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Lopez and Villarreal families, as well as all family members and friends of Juan Jose.
