LOS ANGELES (AP) —

The Material Girl has still got it. Julien's Auctions said Saturday that bidders worldwide sought items from Madonna's professional and personal life during the two-day Icons & Idols: Rock n' Roll auction in Beverly Hills that started Friday.

The auction house says the gown and stole from her "Material Girl" video sold for $73,125, while the wedding dress the pop icon wore when she married Sean Penn in 1985 brought in $81,250.

Her jacket from "Desperately Seeking Susan" sold for a record $252,000 and one earring å in the film fetched $34,375.

“We have the baseball uniform!” says Nolan. “We think of Madonna, and she’s crossed all spectrums.”

Though certainly different in style from most of her looks, Madonna’s uniform as Mae Mordabito in “A League of Their Own” is some of her best-known film garb which sold for $31,250.

Madonna snagged a Golden Globe for her turn as Eva Perón in the 1996 musical “Evita,” One highlight is the ivory gown, designed by costumier Penny Rose, that she wears at the inauguration ball.

“The detail and the beading is just tremendous,” says Nolan, also noting the ruby rhinestones and pearls. The gown from the film "Evita" — which sold for $15,000.

This undated photo provided by Julien's Auctions shows portrait of Madonna by famed photographer Herb Ritts which sold for $35,155 during Julien's two-day Icons & Idols: Rock n' Roll auction in Beverly Hills, Calif., that started Friday, Nov. 8, 2014.
