MARIA DEL SOCORRO OLVERA, Went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2014 at the age of 93. Born July 29, 1921, in Piedras Negras Coah Mexico. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter: Dora Maria del Socorro O. de Acosta from Piedras Negras; 6 Sons: Jose Luis Olvera of Herford Tx, Hector Manuel Olvera of Howard MN, Jose Isabel Olvera of Eagle Pass, Oscar Olvera of San Antonio, Jesus Olvera of Odessa and Edwardo Olvera of Eagle Pass; Also survive her are 30 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for Maria del Socorro was held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. OLGA LIDIA SANCHEZ, Went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 25 2014 at the age of 45. Left to Cherish her memory are her Parents: Manuel Sanchez Jr. and Josefina M. Sanchez of Eagle Pass; Brothers: Juan Manuel Sanchez (Norma), Manuel Sanchez Jr. both of Peoria, Illinios and Trevor Sanchez (Maria) from North Carolina; 2 Sisters: Santa Dentino (Don) from Washington, Illinios and Marissa Sanchez from Maryland. Visitation was held on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 26, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. LUIS ARMANDO ESCAMILLA, Went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the age of 79. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Imelda R. Escamilla ; 3 Daughters: Liz E. Fuentes Charles, Laura E. Segura (Gabriel) and Sandra E. Cuellar (Ernesto) all of San Antonio; 3 Sons: Luis Armando Escamilla Jr., Jose Guadalupe Escamilla (Diane) and Mario Adalberto Escamilla all of San Antonio; 3 Step sons: Troy David Hile of San Antonio, Travis M. Hile of Eagle Pass and Trey Leon Hile of Virginia; Sister: Guadalupe Escamilla Gutierrez of Eagle Pass; 3 Brothers: Ramiro Escamilla of San Antonio, Arturo Escamilla and Raul Escamilla both of Eagle Pass. Also survive him are 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. ROGELIO RIOJAS, entered eternal rest on September 29, 2014 at the age of 71. He is survived by his Wife: Maria G. Riojas of Eagle Pass; Sons: Rogelio Riojas Jr., Roberto Riojas and Joe Gonzalez; Daughters: Rosario Riojas, Esmeralda Villa, Claudia Perez and Margie Monika Gonzalez; Brother: Jose Riojas Jr.; Sisters: Irene Montoya and Tomasa Castillo. Also survive him are 6 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday October 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
