Tomas M. Villarreal, born on September 22, 1938, went with the Lord on August 7, 2014 in Eagle Pass, Texas at the age of 75.
Born in Mexico, Tomas is survived by his loving wife Maria S. Villarreal, as well as Tomas Villarreal, Jose Angel Villarreal, Maria Del Refugio De La Cruz, Maria Del Carmen Villarreal, Juan Luis Villarreal, Jesus Armando Villarreal, and San Juanita Villarreal. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Tomas will be remembered for his kind, loving heart and his passionate demeanor. Those who knew him closely know how much he loved spending time with his family, as well as his passion for fishing, baseball, and his profound relationship with God. Most of all, Tomas will be remembered for the grand love he had for his family and the adoration he had for his wife Maria.
Tomas’ viewing took place on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Services were held on the same day at 7 p.m. Another viewing took place on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by his final service at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Refuge Church in Eagle Pass, Texas. He was laid to rest at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels.

Julio Valdez Salinas
1928-2014
Julio Valdez, born on July 1, 1928, went with the Lord on August 9, 2014 at the age of 86 in San Antonio, Texas.
Born in Mexico, Julio is survived by son Julio Valdez Jr., brothers Rito Valdez Salinas, Martin Valdez, and Benjamin V. Nietos, and sister Rita V. Nolasco. Julio is also survived by his grandsons Julio Alejandro Valdez, Cesar Daniel Valdez, and great grandsons Julio Valdez IV, Alejandro Valdez, and Gabriel Valdez.
Julio will me remembered for the honest, hard-working man he was throughout his life. Those who knew him best knew how hard he worked, and admired his ability capacity to never get tired. Julio was a talented, dedicated man, one who never stopped carrying or worrying about his family. He enjoyed spending his days with those closest to him in the ranch or on the field. Until his final days, Julio was there to love and to care for his family, as well as those closest to him.
Julio’s viewing took place on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. His service was held on the same day at 7 p.m. Another viewing took place on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 8 a.m to 12:45 p.m., followed by his final service at 1:15 p.m. at San Juan De Los Lagos Church. He was laid to rest at Santo Cristo Cemetery in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro.
