Eric Lee Ruiz 1990-2014

 

Eric Lee Ruiz, born on March 8, 1990, went with the Lord on May 16, 2014 at the age of 24 in Del Rio,

Texas.

Born in Eagle Pass, Eric is survived by his son Kimberly Perez, his daughter Ryan Perez, his mother Norma Leticia Ruiz, his sister Angie Ruiz, his brothers Johnny and Oscar Ruiz, his uncles Jesus and Eduardo Cisneros, and his aunts

Margarita Cortina, Martha Patricia Castillo, Maria Elena Rodriguez, Yolanda Camarillo, and Celinda Rivas. Eric will be remembered for his lighthearted, cheerful demeanor. He had a great passion for sports, particularly soccer. He also enjoyed spending his time listening to various types of music. He was a great father, son, and friend, and will surely be remembered for the love he had for all those close to him. Eric’s viewing was held on Sunday, May 18 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Services were held on the same day at 7:30 p.m. Another viewing took place on Monday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by his service at Memorial Funeral Chapel’s Chapel A. He was laid to rest at the Maverick County Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez & Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels. 

At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their grand prayers and support for those close to the Ruiz family, as well as every-

one close to Eric. 

Eric Lee Ruiz will be dearly missed.

 

Manuela Huerta 1933-2014

 

Manuela Huerta, born on May 26, 1933, went with the Lord on May 19, 2014 at the age of 80 in Eagle Pass, Texas.

Born in Mexico, Manuela is survived by Diana Montalvo, Alfredo Aguado, and Rolando Aguado. She is also survived by eleven grand- children and ten great-grand-children.

Manuela will be remembered for the passion- ate, fierce attitude. She was known to be a strong woman with great enthusiasm for dancing, singing, and ultimately enjoying life. She was also kind and endearing, and was known to care for ill people just as she cared for everyone she loved. 

Manuela’s viewing was held on May 20, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. A serv-ice was held on the same day at 7:30 p.m. Another viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by her service at the Santuario de Guadalupe at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Panteón Santo Cristo. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels.

At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Huerta family, as well as for everyone close to Manuela.Manuela Huerta will be dearly missed by our community.
