Born in Bracketville, Texas, Benito is survived by his devoted wife Maria Ines Gutierrez, and his sons Manuel de Jesus Gutierrez, Maximo Gutierrez, Bernardo Gutierrez, and Jose Gutierrez. He is also survived by his daughters Rosa Hinojosa, Rosario Gutierrez, Elia Gutierrez, Diana Martinez, Maria del Socorro Vasquez, and Sonia Gutierrez de Lopez.
Benito was a cheerful, lighthearted man with a great passion for gardening and carpentry. He was known to be a good neighbor, as well as an all-around exemplary man. He was fond of music and dancing. Benito also enjoyed certain sports, especially boxing. He enjoyed spending time playing and taking care of his grandchildren. Those close to him will remember Benito for being a kind husband, an excellent father, and a loving grandfather.
Benito’s viewing was held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Another viewing was held on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by his service at Sacred Heart Church at 11 a.m. He was laid to rest at the Maverick County Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez & Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.

Marcos Hernandez, born on October 9, 1965, went with the Lord on April 10, 2014 at the age of 48.
Born in Eagle Pass, Texas, Marcos is survived by his loving wife Maria Orta, his son Pedro Alvarado, and his daughters Isabel Hernandez and Angelica Hernandez.
Viewings for Marcos will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 starting at 10 a.m. His Rosary takes place on the same day at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapels. Services will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. He will be laid to rest at the Maverick County Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels.

1932-2014
Enrique Herrera, born on June 2 1932, went with the Lord on April 10, 2014 at the age of 81 in Eagle Pass, Texas.
Born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Enrique Herrera is survived by his sons Luis Enrique Herrera, Hector Gerardo Herrera, Jaime Herrera, and his loving daughter Carmen Gabriela De Leon. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Enrique will be remembered as an amiable, enthusiastic man who enjoyed spending his days with his loved ones and his closest friends. He had a great passion for many things, including the outdoors and fishing, and participating in joyous games of domino with those closest to him. Until his final days, Enrique was a loving, cheerful man who loved and cared deeply.
Enrique’s viewing was held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. His Rosary was held on the same day at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapels. Another viewing took place on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by his service at 2 p.m. at San Juan De Los Lagos. He was laid to rest at the Panteon Santo Cristo Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez & Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.

Adelina R. Rios, born on July 8, 1917 in Guerrero, Coahuila, went with the Lord on April 11, 2014 at the age of 96 in Uvalde, Texas.

Born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Jose is survived by his loving wife Maria Del Refugio Navarrete, his sons Juan Ramon, Santos, Hector, Francisco Javier, and his daughters Maria Del Jesus, Bertha Alicia, Blanca Estela, and Martha Elena.
Jose Ramon will be remembered as a passionate man who loved and cared deeply for his family. He made sure to always be around those closest and deepest to him. He was a hard-working man of a diligent nature, and he made sure to take care and support his loved ones until his final days.
