Pedro Antonio Ibarra 1988-2014
Pedro Antonio Ibarra, born on January 8, 1988, went with the Lord on April 1, 2014 at the age of 26 in Eagle Pass.
Born in Crookston, Minnesota Pedro is survived by his parents Jose Gilberto Ibarra and Elizabeth Martinez; his sister Laura Alicia Mendez, and his brothers Jose Gilberto Ibarra Jr. and Vince Ventura Ibarra. Pedro Ibarra will be remember for his pleasant, cheerful demeanor. He was known to be a hard-worker and a promising, young man who never ceased to do his best. Above all things, Pedro was greatly fond of his family, and loved and cherished everyone who was close to him.
Pedro’s viewing was held on Monday, March 31, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. His sorry was held on the same day at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel’s Chapel A. Another viewing was held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by his service at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Eagle Pass. He was laid to rest at Maverick County Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez & Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.
At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support for the Ibarra and Martinez families, as well as for everyone who was close to Pedro.

Tomas S. Perez 1940-2014
Tomas S. Perez, born on May 10, 1940, went with the Lord on March 30, 2014 at the age of 73. Tomas Perez was born in El Nacimiento, Mexico and spent his final days in Eagle Pass, Texas.
Viewing for Tomas Perez was held on Monday, March 31, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Services followed at 11:30 a.m. He was laid to rest at El Nacimiento Cemetery.
At this time, we would like to express our condolences. We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Perez family and for everyone close to Tomas.

Saul Garcia 1930-2014
Saúl Garcia joined his loving father and mother in heaven on March 29th, 2014 at the age of 83. He was born in Crystal City, Texas on April 1st, 1930 to his parents, Ignacio and Severa Garcia; Saúl was also raised by his beloved second mother, Angelina Garcia. A veteran of foreign wars, he served his country honorably from 1947 - 1952 in the Korean War. During the early course of his young adult life, he worked as a migrant farmer alongside his father and brother in the northern United States. During his adult years, Saúl worked as parts sales clerk at DeBona-Bibb Supply. He was a heavy equipment mechanic for John Deere with a deep passion for the outdoors. He was a member of the Asociación de Charros in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. His passions included ranching, farming, fishing and hunting and shared these endeavors with friends and family throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Irma Garcia, of 59 years of marriage; his five loving children, Yadira De Los Santos, Sonia Torralba and her husband Tito Torralba III, Alma G. Olvera and her husband José Indalecio Olvera, Saúl Garcia, Jr. and his wife Sandra A. Garcia, Laura Lucina de Luna and her husband Oscar de Luna; his thirteen granchildren, Fernando De Los Santos Garcia, Giovanna De Los Santos and her husband Herwing Escobedo, Alan De Los Santos, Sonia Marisa Torralba, Amanda Michelle Torralba, José Indalecio Olvera, Jr. , Abraham Olvera, Alexa Carolina Garcia, Saúl Garcia III, Alessandra Garcia, Oscar Luis de Luna, Edgar de Luna, Kaitlyn de Luna; three great grandchildren, Fernando De Los Santos Villaseñor, Tina Elisa De Los Santos Villaseñor and Eileen Escobedo. He is survived by his siblings Edmundo Garcia, Angelina Garcia, Mauro Garcia, Jaime Garcia and Edmundo Garcia.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2014 from 10:00 AM through 1:30 PM at Memorial Funeral Chapels at 1705 Del Rio Blvd. in Eagle Pass, Texas. A mass will be held at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 800 N Comal Street in Eagle Pass, Texas. Following the mass, military funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery on 1679 Flower Street in Eagle Pass, Texas.
