Hilda Demming 1935-2014
Hilda Demming, born on May 31, 1935, went with the Lord on March 24, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 78.
Born in Mexico, Hilda is survived by her loving daughter Adrienne Demming, as well as her sons Ray Demming and Edwin Demming. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Among the countless of her benevolent attributes, Hilda was simply known for her immense generosity. Throughout her long-lived life, Hilda gracefully donated land to churches, as well as to the Texas Migrant Council. She was prestigiously known for being the first person to sell real estate in Chula Vista. Hilda will also be remembered for feeding prisoners during holidays, and helping struggling families to start their homes. She was known to be a religious woman who practiced her beliefs in God, yet never preached them. Besides her abundant and resonant acts of kindness, Hilda was known for her great passion for writing. She spent her time composing music and writing poetry, and even has songs that have been copyrighted under her name. Hilda’s optimism was always perceivable; she never gave up on life, even through the most difficult situations. Beyond all her great accomplishments in life, however, Hilda was ultimately known for her great love for her family. She cared for them and cherished them until her final days.
Hilda’s viewing took place on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Her Rosary was held on the same day at 7:30 p.m. Service was held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at San Andres Apostol Church in Nava, Coahuila at 11 a.m. She was laid to rest at the Municipal Cemetery of Nava. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro.

Magdaleno Rodriguez 1932-2014
Magdaleno Rodriguez, born on November 19, 1932, went with the Lord on March 19, 2014 at the age of 81.
Born in Mexico, Magdaleno is survived by his loving wife Isabel Rodriguez. He is also survived by his sons Jose A. and Abel; his daughters Ana Maria and Cristina; twelve grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Magdaleno will be remembered for his pleasant, delightful personality. He was an avid fan of games and sports, especially baseball and the New York Yankees. He also enjoyed gambling at the Casino. Magdaleno also enjoyed spending time listening to classical music while he rested. Above all, however, Magdaleno was a man who lived for his children, his grandchildren, and the rest of his loving family.
Magdaleno’s viewing took place on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Another viewing took place on Friday, March 21, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., followed by his service at 10 a.m. He was laid to rest at the Santo Cristo Cemetery in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez & Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.

Eufemio Perales 1939-2014
Eufemio Perales, born on February 19, 1939, went with the Lord on March 19, 1939 at the age of 75.
Born in Mexico, Eufemio is survived by his loving wife Maria Enedelia Perales, as well as his daughters Gricelda Alejandra Molina, Mireya Luna, Lucila Buentello, Enedelia Perales, and six grandchildren.
Eufemio will be remembered for the candid, honest person he was. A great enthusiast of mechanics, Eufemio was a man who respected and revered honest, hard work. Those who knew him know how much he loved his family, and how much he cared and adored everyone who was close to him.
Eufemio’s viewing was held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Another viewing took place on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. His rosary was held on the same day at 7:30 p.m. Eufemio’s service was held on Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Eagle Pass. He was laid to rest at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez & Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.

Jose Blanco 1972-2014
Jose Blanco, born on October 18, 1972, went with the Lord on March 18, 2014 at the age of 41 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Born in Toppenish, Washington, Jose is survived by his loving wife Ludy Blanco. He is also survived by his daughter Yasmin Blanco; his sons Jose Blanco III and Joel Blanco; his father Jose Blanco Sr., and his mother Diamantina Rodriguez.
Jose Blanco will be remember for his sweet, loving, optimistic personality and his amenable demeanor. He enjoyed spending his time playing with his children and his family. He was a great friend to all, a loving father and son, and a man who truly believed that everything in life is possible.
Jose Blanco’s viewing took place on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Another viewing took place on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Rosaries took place on both days at 7:30 p.m. Jose’s service was held on Monday, March 24 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Eagle Pass, Texas. He was laid to rest at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez & Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.

Joaquina De Leon Marines 1926-2014
Joaquina De Leon Marines, born October 12, 1926, went with the Lord on March 21, 2014 at the age of 87 in Eagle Pass, Texas.
Born in Mexico, Joaquina is survived by her sons Cervando Sotelo, Rafael Sotelo, Javier Sotelo, and her daughter Norma Castillo.
Joaquina’s viewing took place on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from a.m. to 12 a.m. Another viewing was held on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by her services at 1:30 p.m. at the Santuario de Guadalupe Church in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was laid to rest at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Valdez & Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.

Elias Sanchez Del Rio, born on January 5, 1943, went with the Lord on March 20, 2014 in San Antonio Texas at the age of 71.
Elias’ viewing took place on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Her rosary was held on the same day at 11 a.m. Service was held at Sacred Heart Church at 2 p.m. Arrangements were made under care and direction of Valdez & Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.
