Manuel O. Hernandez
1926-2014
Manuel O. Hernandez, born on January 15, 1926, went with the Lord on March 18, 2014 at the age of 88.
Born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Manuel is survived by his sons Eduardo H. Hernandez, Enrique H. Hernandez, Jose Manuel Hernandez, Roberto H. Hernandez; his daughters Rosa Heredia, Maria Elena W. Hernandez, Ana Maria Oyervidez, Lidia H. Martinez, and Dora Elia Flores. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren and forty-five great-grandchildren.
Manuel will be a remember for the hard-working, responsible man he was throughout his life. He was highly fond of the outdoors, and loved spending his days in ranches. This great passion for nature was only matched for the great love he had for his family.
Manuel’s viewing will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m at Memorial Funeral Chapel’s A Chapel. Service will be held on the same day at 7 p.m. Another viewing will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by his service at 10 a.m. at the Getsemani Temple. He will be laid to rest at the Maverick County Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez and Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.

Margarita Pina Rodriguez
1926-2014
Margarita Pina Rodriguez, born on June 11, 1926, went with the Lord on March 13, 2014 at the age of 87.
Born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Margarita is survived by her devoted spouse Jose Rodriguez, as well as her daughters Magaly R. Griffis, Sonia R. Gonzalez, Sandra R. Jones, and Zulema R. Walski.
Margarita was a woman who was greatly fond of her family. She had a keen, traditional interest for sewing. She had a passion for music; not only did she enjoy dancing, but she also took pleasure in singing for her children and grandchildren. Margarita was also known for her charming, appealing house decorations and her pristine gardening. Most of all, she was known for a woman that loved and care for everyone close to her.
Margarita’s viewing was held on Monday, March, 17, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapels. Her service was held on the same day at 7:30 p.m. Another viewing was held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., followed by her final service at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels.

Gregorio Luis Jimenez
1948-2014
Gregorio Luis Jimenez, born on August 24, 1948, went with the Lord on March 14, 2014 at the age of 65.
Born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Gregorio is survived by his loving wife Luz De Lourdes Jimenez, as well as his son Luis Gregorio Jimenez, his grandsons Liam Gregorio Jimenez, his granddaughter Mia Jimenez, daughter-in-law Alicia Jimenez, and his brothers Carlos and Martin Jimenez.
Gregorio was a kind, religious man. For years, he was involved in the Cursillos Movement, which focuses on instilling Christian fundamental ideals in individuals. He was a fan of baseball, and was part of the Astros softball team. Above all things, Gregorio valued the importance of family, and he cared for and loved them until his final days.
Gregorio’s viewing took place on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Rosary was held on the same day at 10 a.m., followed by his service at Sacred Heart Church at 1 p.m. Another viewing followed from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. on the same day at Funerales Socorro. Final service was held on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Santuario de Guadalupe in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro.
We would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Jimenez family, as well as for everyone who was close to Gregorio.
