Concepcion Flores
1928-2014
Concepcion Flores, born on February 18, 1928, went with the Lord on January, 18, 2014 at the age of 85.
Born in Mexico, Concepcion is survived by her daughters Josefina Kypuros and Olivia Casares; her son-in-law Willie Kypuros; her son Amado Esqueda and her daughter-in-law Bertha Esqueda. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Also known as “Concha,” Concepcion was a high-spirited, jovial woman with a great passion for rodeos and Southwestern and Mexican traditions. She was also fond of celebrations, and would love to spend time gathering with family and friends. Concha remained an enthusiastic, energetic woman until her final days, a woman with great love and a smile ready for all those she deeply cared for.
Concepcion’s viewing was held on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Her Rosary was held on the same day at 9 p.m. Another viewing took place on Tuesday, January 21, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by her Service at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She was laid to rest at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery.

Rogelio Alvarez
1954-2014
Rogelio Alvarez, born on April 25, 1954, went with the Lord on January 18, 2014 at the age of 59.
A citizen of Eagle Pass, Rogelio Alvarez is survived by his daughter Marisol Berumen, as well as her sons Rogelio Alvarez Jr., Jorge Alvarez, Antonio Alvarez, and Eduardo Alvarez. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
Known as “El Frijol” by those who knew him closely, Rogelio was a man with a great interest in fine foods and fishing. He was a great cook, and barbecued for his family and friends every chance he had. Also known as “Rojo” by his devoted wife due to his skin color, Rogelio loved every single one of his family members and cared for them until his final days.
Rogelio’s viewing was held on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Funerales Socorro in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. His service was held at Santuario Guadalupe on Monday, January 20, 2014. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez and Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.

Andrea Celeste Gonzalez
1988-2014
Andrea Celeste Gonzalez, born on October 23, 1988, went with the Lord on January 16, 2014 at the young age of 25.
Born in Nasswadox, Virginia, Andrea was the daughter of Jesus Isaias and Ruth Gonzalez. She is survived by her parents, as well as her brothers Jesus Gonzalez, Lemuel Gonzalez; his sister Ruth Gonzalez; her grandfather Isaias De La Rosa, and her grandmothers Teresa De La Rosa and Enedelia Martinez.
Andrea’s viewing was held on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 9 a.m. Her Sunday Service was held at 6:30 p.m.Another viewing took place on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Roca Firme at 12 p.m. Final viewing took place on Monday, January 20, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. She was laid to rest at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery in Eagle Pass, Texas. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez and Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.

Raul Gonzalez Recio
1924-2014
Raul Gonzalez Recio, born June 3, 1924, went with the Lord on January 14, 2014 at the age of 89.
Born in Saltillo Coahuila, Raul was the husband of the late Felicitas Piña. He is survived by Raul Gonzalez Piña, Roberto Gonzalez Piña, and Maria Patricia Gonzalez Piña de Rangel. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitations for Raul took place on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 10 am to 9 pm at Memorial Funeral Chapels. Another visitation was held on Friday, January 17 at 10 am. His religious service was held at Sacred Heart Church in Eagle Pass, Texas on January 17, 2014 at 11 am. He was laid to rest at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. Arrangements were made under the great care and direction of Valdez and Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.

Raul will be dearly missed.
Jacinto Moreno Hernandez
1927-2014
Jacinto Moreno Hernandez, born on August 17, 1927, went with the Lord on January 15, 2014 at the age of 86.
Born in Dulo, California, Jacinto is survived by his sisters Milba Moreno, Conrada Moreno, and Blasa Moreno. He is also survived by his brother Juan Moreno. Jacinto was a citizen of Eagle Pass, Texas.
Jacinto’s viewing was held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Another viewing took place on Friday, January 17 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., followed by his Service at 10 a.m. at San Juan De Los Lagos. He was laid to rest at the Panteon Municipal de El Moral.

Dorotea A. Carrion

Dorotea Carrion, born on February 6, 1922, went with the Lord on January 14, 2014 at the age of 91.
Born in Maxwell, Texas, Dorotea was a citizen of Eagle Pass, Texas.
Dorotea’s viewing was held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Another viewing was held on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., followed by her Service at 3 p.m. She was laid to rest at Panteon Santo Cristo. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Valdez and Sons Memorial Funeral Chapels.
